We are looking for a Customer Service Officer for our Northern Europe Sales Area, based in Belgium. In this position you will take care of a portfolio of existing customers located in the UK & the Republic of Ireland.

The main tasks of our Customer Service Officer will be to build and develop a strong relationship with designated customers and prospects by giving them proper sales and technical information and handle the administrative tasks related to your activities (quotation, feeding of the CRM, …).

The Customer Service Officer reports to the Head of Northern Europe Area and closely works in collaboration with the other team members (Sales Managers, Technical Sales and Customer Officers) to reach the defined targets.


After in-depth and continuous technical and sales trainings, common skills and attitudes are:

  • Ability to proactively contact your customers to understand their needs and demands, and meet their sales and technical expectations.
  • Ability to develop subtle, dedicated and oriented sales argumentation.
  • Ability to give support to organize and coordinate the business trips of your colleagues.
  • Ability to organize the meetings of your customers visiting BEA’s premises and participate in these meetings.
  • Readiness to stretch your comfort zone, because learning is a continuous process.
  • Curiosity : you are keen to dig deeper and understand how things work. From the sensor industry to our clients business specifics, to the nitty-gritty of your job, you are actively curious and seeking answers.
  • Commitment : you are not afraid of working hard to get the job done. You know that not every task can be part of someone’s job, and you like helping as much as you appreciate being helped.

Our Customer Officer will also bring:

An excellent level of French and English (spoken and written) is expected. A very good knowledge of Dutch is an additional asset.
