As an Embedded Software Developer (Linux), you participate in the development of detectors and contribute to the growth of the company’s product portfolio. More specifically, you implement detection algorithms for people, objects or vehicle detectors. You cooperate closely with the Signal Process Engineers. This function requires technical interactions with our internal employees as well as our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This function covers the following aspects:
Develop real-time software in C.
Estimate, implement and test the software solutions in a multi-disciplinary Scrum team.
Perform code review, document and maintain software solutions.
Collaborate with the other R&D teams to design and implement the platform and its software features.
YOUR QUALITIES & SKILLS
You have a technical degree in the field in question or equivalent experience.
You have successful introductory experience in programming embedded real-time software within a company.
In-depth knowledge of C programming language with experience in Linux for embedded devices.
Knowledge in distributed and network centric applications.
Knowledge in security libraries and secure elements.
Knowledge of Python and C# is a plus.
You have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
Management experience of Agile (Scrum) is a plus.
