As Product Manager, you will contribute to developing and monitoring the company’s product portfolio.
This is a job that requires a technical and commercial presence both internally and externally in terms of our existing customers and prospective customers, and involves contributing to the development of the product portfolio.
Your goal is to enable the sales team to increase the market share for the line of business in accordance with the strategy that is defined with senior management and the head of the department.
Specific characteristics of the job
You will understand the market and gather information to accurately define products for it.
You will analyse market and industry trends. You will play close attention to the technological landscape, competing products, public standards and regulations.
You will visit customers and communicate with the various market players (OEMs, distributors, installers, etc.) to understand their expectations, needs and difficulties in their lines of business.
You will have an expert knowledge of company, competitor and customer products (operation, performance, unique selling points, costs and prices used, etc.).
You will identify growth opportunities for BEA by means of new products, business models or markets. You will be involved in analysing and developing the corporate strategy at product level.
You will encourage innovation and help develop new solutions throughout the company.
You will write technical specifications for new products, identify differentiators, formalise value propositions and calculate the project’s ROI.
You will champion the product vision internally and collaborate with the various departments involved in the main product life phases (design, development, certification, patent applications, etc.).
You will ensure product qualification by checking that all elements match customer specifications and expectations.
Together with the marketing department, you will define all the actions and resources that are required to launch the products on the market.
You will manage the product’s administrative launch.
You will train and support the sales teams during the commercial launch.
You will maintain and optimise the BEA product catalogue.
Engineering degree (industrial or civil) and/or extensive Product Management experience.
You can juggle analytical skills with strategic thinking.
You have a natural commercial touch when welcoming or interacting with our customers.
You are fluent in French and German and can communicate comfortably in English.
