ELIX can be mounted either on the door plane or on the ceiling.
When mounted above the door, there are no specific constraints other than avoiding a lateral offset that is too large. For optimal performance, the sensor should be installed no more than 1 m to the left or right of the door, ensuring the detection field covers the zone of interest (up to 3 m on each side of the sensor).
ELIX can be installed close to or above moving door leaves and at mounting heights of up to 4 m.
ELIX can also be mounted on the ceiling, either by orienting the sensor downward, by using the ceiling accessory for a recessed integration, or by using the bracket accessory.
If there is pedestrian flow behind the sensor (between the sensor and the door), the Sensor front offset parameter should be adjusted during the teach-in process.
