HR Reward & Analytics Expert

For its Human Resources Department, BEA is seeking for an HR Reward & Analytics Expert. As a member of the HR team, you will be responsible for managing compensation and benefits administration for all employees of BEA Belgium. You will ensure that compensation policies support the company’s strategic objectives while meeting the needs of our employees.


In collaboration with the HR Director Belgium, the HR Reward & Analytics Expert works autonomously to make decisions in line with BEA’s objectives regarding payroll management and salary administration. He/She closely collaborates with the entire HR department, Finance, and serves as the primary interface for employees, external payroll/project service providers, and/or social and fiscal authorities. He/She is also responsible for budget monitoring and financial reporting related to payroll activities.

As an HR Reward & Analytics Expert, your key responsibilities will be:

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Manage payroll processing and salary administration for all employees (blue & white collars) of BEA in Belgium (CP 209 and 111.01), in collaboration with the HR Operations & Payroll Specialist.
  • Handle specifics related to international mobility and expat payrolling.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and tax obligations regarding payroll, including researcher tax exemption specifics.
  • Manage time and attendance in our Protime tool.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of payroll processes, conduct internal audits and controls, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide support for external audits and controls.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits questions.

HR Analytics & KPI:

  • Analyze and generate monthly/annual HR data reports based on accurate data entries in ERP, e-Blox & Workday (employee turnover, headcount, recruitment, diversity, well-being, safety, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Make recommendations and identify trends compared to the Belgian sector and market to support the company’s strategy.

HR Projects:

  • Prepare and coordinate annual compensation processes and budget reviews (fleet, CCT90, bonuses, indexation, paid leave).
  • Support the HR Director Belgium in negotiations with union delegations.
  • Design and implement new elements in the compensation package to support the overall company strategy (FIP, mobility plan, retirement schemes, insurance, etc.).
  • Support organizational development initiatives such as job classification and benchmark studies.
  • Handle the Hard HR part in the onboarding process of new employees.


  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in French (C2 level) and English (B2 level).
  • Proven expertise in payroll and benefits administration, with over 5 years of experience in HR and HR Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Belgian labor law and social legislation, as well as payroll HR software such as e-Blox, and ideally Workday and Protime.
  • Ability to provide in-depth HR analysis and make strategic recommendations.
  • Team player, proactive, results-oriented.
  • Ethical, integrity, discretion, and precision in work.
  • Autonomy and flexibility, ability to adapt in a growing and changing environment.
