Based on technical specifications and CAD tools, you ensure the mechanical design of the elements that constitute the sensors and the tooling related to their manufacture.

YOUR MISSION

The Mechanical Designer is integrated into the teams developing new sensors. Their responsibilities are as follows:

  • Designing mechanical parts in 3D on SolidWorks, prototyping, analysis, simulations, documentation, drafting.
  • In coordination with the technical project leader, collaborating with other development departments (electronics, optics…) and production (industrialization, quality…).
  • Participating in writing test strategies and in the tests themselves (vibration, sealing, etc.).
  • Communicating with subcontractors about DFM (Design For Manufacturing), ordering and tracking manufacturing tools (molds), validating parts and monitoring modifications.

YOUR QUALITIES & SKILLS

  • You enjoy tackling challenges as a team and are curious!
  • You demonstrate inventiveness in the practical implementations of basic ideas provided by designers.

  • Knowledge of simulation tools and the PLM Bluestar is a plus.
  • Understanding of constraints related to plastic injection.
  • Knowledge of standards related to various tests (sealing, shocks, vibrations, thermal cycles).
  • Proficiency in functional dimensioning calculations (tolerance chains).
  • Good spoken and written knowledge of French (C1) and English (B1).

OUR OFFER

  • In addition to being part of a great team that loves collaboration, birthday cake and fun – we offer a competitive package including extra-legal benefits (meal vouchers, eco-vouchers, collective bonus as well as individual bonus, 13th month, teleworking, health insurance and pension plan).
