Area Sales Manager (Southern Europe)

As the Area Sales Manager at BEA Europe, your mission is to lead market growth and establish BEA as the preferred partner. Your role extends beyond sales, as you become a pivotal source of market intelligence influencing not only product development and strategic decisions but also customer behaviours and practices.

YOUR MISSION

Acting as Area Sales Manager within the Sales department of the BEA Europe includes the following responsibilities:

  • Spearhead market growth and position BEA as the preferred partner through expert market insights and strategic customer engagement plans.
  • Develop and implement a 3-6 month customer and prospect visit plan, including targeted actions and trainings.
  • Drive significant market penetration through an action plan to increase BEA’s market share focusing on both existing customers and new prospects by presenting specialized products, services and solutions.
  • Proactively meet and manage customer expectations, anticipating their needs, and making informed decisions.
  • Act as a pivotal source of market and competitive intelligence, directly influencing product development and strategic decisions, as well as ensuring proper diffusion within BEA’s team.
  • Demonstrate expertise in standards, influencing customer perspectives and advocating for beneficial changes in National Committees.

YOUR QUALITIES & SKILLS

  • Hold a master’s degree in business studies or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, specialized on B2B.
  • Capability to develop a clear strategy (specified by KPIs), identify and realize sales opportunities.
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs within a global context and willingness to expand your comfort zone.
  • Fluent in French, Italian and English. Any additional language is an asset.
  • Have excellent communication skills, questioning and selling point development.
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues to exchange informations and achieve goals.
  • Willingness to travel (30 to 40%).
