Procurement Officer

To ensure optimum service for our internal and external customers, our Operations department is looking for a Procurement Officer. Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring procurement for production.

YOUR MISSION

As Procurement Officer, your main responsibility will be to ensure that the raw materials and products required by BEA are available at the right time and in sufficient quantities to meet Production requirements while optimising costs. Your role will therefore be to anticipate requirements in order to avoid shortages and overstocking, which involves developing excellent relations with suppliers.

Your tasks will be as follows:

  • Analysing and processing forecast orders in the ERP system;
  • Monitoring supplier order acknowledgements;
  • Following-up with suppliers until delivery of products;
  • Updating delivery dates and making any necessary adjustments in the ERP system following discussions with suppliers;
  • Working closely with its internal customer (production department) to anticipate and resolve problems that could impact end-customer satisfaction;
  • Ensuring that suppliers meet their contractual obligations;
  • Coordinating and participating in the resolution of post-delivery issues such as accounting disputes, quality problems, etc.;
  • Transmitting performance reports to the Procurement Supervisor.

YOUR QUALITIES & SKILLS

  • Bachelor in supply chain management, management assistant, international business or similar.
  • Experience in supply chain and planning, preferably in industry.
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite, particularly Exce
  • Proficiency in ERP, Dynamics 365 is an asset.
  • Service and customer oriented, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to collaborate effectively with different departments.
  • Organisation and anticipation to ensure effective plannin
  • Fluent in English (minimum level B1) for dealings with Business Units and suppliers.
